Hard Pass is an edgy adult comedy series about six friends in their 30s who navigate breakups, bad decisions, and everyday chaos, with zero interest in raising kids. Set against a Southern backdrop, it’s raw, witty, and brutally honest about life without filters or diapers.

Chanel Harkins is a striking Black woman in her early 30s with a badge on her hip and sarcasm in her blood. She’s a seasoned police detective who’s seen the worst of humanity and laughs in its face. Sharp-tongued, stylish, and always ten steps ahead, Chanel brings big energy to every room she enters. She’s outspoken, unapologetic, and allergic to emotional vulnerability—unless you're lucky enough to catch her off guard.
While she’s a boss at work, her personal life is a little messier (mostly by choice). She loves her freedom, brunch with her girls, and sleeping in on Saturdays. Kids? Not in the cards. She’s confident in her decision to live child-free and doesn’t want to explain it to anybody. Chanel is quick to make a joke, slow to let people in, and fiercely loyal to the select few who earn her trust.
At her core, Chanel is a walking contradiction: brave but guarded, blunt but caring, strong but still healing from past betrayals. She’s not here to be liked—she’s here to be understood… eventually.
**Looking for:**
A tall Black woman (5’7” and up) with strong comedic timing, natural charisma, and the ability to improvise. Think Issa Rae meets Wanda Sykes with a Southern twist. Must be outgoing, expressive, and comfortable carrying ensemble scenes with quick banter and chemistry.

Brielle works in corporate, has her life *mostly* together, and knows how to clear a room with one look. She’s nurturing, observant, and always ten steps ahead.
**Looking for:**
An actress who can deliver dry wit, master the art of the slow burn, and balance grounded drama with effortless comedy. Chemistry with Chanel (a loud, sarcastic, funny character) is key—we’re looking for someone who can volley with a big personality and still steal the scene.
